ISTANBUL — Turkish Airlines, Turkey’s flag carrier, will resume flights to Afghanistan on May 21, the airline announced Tuesday.

Flights were suspended following the fall of the previous government in August 2021.

The airline will operate services between Istanbul and Kabul, the Afghan capital, four times a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
