TAULQAN, Afghanistan — The Resistance Front stated that its fighters launched an assault on a Taliban outpost in Taulqan, the center of Takhar province, resulting in the death of one Taliban member and injuries to three others.
The attack occurred around midnight on Sunday in the Nahr-e Chaman area of PD5 in Taulqan.
According to the statement, the skirmish between the Taliban and Resistance Front forces persisted for approximately half an hour.
The Taliban has not issued a comment on the incident.
