Iran executed an Afghan citizen without allowing him a final farewell with his family on Wednesday, according to the human rights watchdog HAALVSH.
The organization identified the man as Khan Mohammad Ishaqzai, 40, a father of five from Farah province.
An Iranian court had sentenced him to death for alleged involvement in drug trafficking.
