The ministry said the Afghan nationals were freed from various Pakistani jails and had crossed back into Afghanistan.
According to the UN refugee agency, more than 2.18 million Afghans were living in Pakistan as of October 2025.
An additional 114 individuals were expelled from Iran on the same day, with most returns carried out forcibly, the commission.
