Defending champions Amo beat Bost by five wickets

Defending champions Amo Sharks continued their impressive start to the 11th edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League, defeating Bost Defenders by five wickets on Thursday to register their second consecutive victory.

Chasing a target of 154, Amo Sharks reached 155-5 to seal the win and maintain their unbeaten start to the tournament.

Bost Defenders had earlier posted 153-9 from their allotted 20 overs, but the defending champions successfully chased down the target to strengthen their position in the early stages of the competition.

The victory follows Amo Sharks’ opening-day triumph over Band-e-Amir Dragons, when they won by eight wickets with more than four overs to spare.

The 11th edition of the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026 is being held at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost Province.

The tournament, Afghanistan’s premier domestic Twenty20 competition, features five regional franchises competing for the 2026 title.
