Ten members of a single family, including several women, were killed in an attack by unidentified armed men in the Abukhana village of Alisher district, Khost Province, on Tuesday afternoon, according to local sources.
The sources attributed the killings to a “personal feud,” though further details about the motive remain unclear.
Mustaghfar Gurbaz, a spokesperson for the Taliban governor in Khost, confirmed the incident and said security forces had been dispatched to the area to investigate and identify those responsible.
“Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and efforts are underway to arrest the perpetrators,” Gurbaz added.
