Afghanistan: Death toll from floods in Faryab reaches 80

The death toll from floods in Faryab province in northern Afghanistan has reached 80, according to Taliban-run broadcaster, RTA.

According to the report, five people were injured and five others are missing.

The floods affected five districts and the outskirts of Maymana city.

Residents of Faryab have also suffered significant financial losses due to the floods.

Initially, reports indicated that 18 people were killed in Faryab floods.
