Bost defeats Amo in rain-shortened match to go top of National T20 Cup

Bost Region defeated Amo Region by eight wickets in a rain-shortened match at the e& National T20 Cup 2026 in Kunduz on Sunday, strengthening its position at the top of the tournament standings.

The 15th match of the competition was reduced to five overs per side because of bad weather.

After winning the toss, Bost elected to bowl first and restricted Amo to 64 for 4 in their allotted five overs.

Imran Mir led Amo’s batting with a rapid 37 runs off 12 deliveries, providing most of his team’s scoring in the shortened contest.

For Bost, Nasratullah Nooristani was the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets for 17 runs.

In reply, Bost chased down the target with ease, reaching 65 for 2 in just 4.1 overs to complete its fourth win of the tournament.

The victory moved Bost to the top of the points table in the domestic T20 competition, which is being held under the supervision of the Afghanistan Cricket Board in Kunduz.

The e& National T20 Cup is one of Afghanistan’s main domestic cricket tournaments and features regional teams from across the country.
