Delawarzada Dara-e-Turkman was crowned champion of Kabul’s 1404 Futsal Premier League, defeating 10 other teams in a 28-day tournament held in the capital. Shaqayeq finished as runner-up.
The competition, which featured 11 teams, was played at the Afghanistan Football Federation’s futsal committee stadium in Kabul.
Both the champion and runner-up earned qualification for Afghanistan’s zonal futsal championship tournament.
At the other end of the table, Etminan and Warzesh Afghanistan, which finished with the fewest points, were relegated to Kabul’s first-division futsal league.
Individual honors were also awarded at the conclusion of the season. Abbas Amiri of FC Pishtaz was named best goalkeeper, while Abdul Hamid Akhlaqi of Adalat claimed the top scorer award.
Khodadad Ramazani of Delawarzada Dara-e-Turkman was named the league’s best player.
