Afghanistan XI defeated Uzbekistan by 199 runs in a one-off friendly T20 match in Khost province on Friday, powered by a rapid century from Hassan Eisakhil and a disciplined bowling performance.
Uzbekistan won the toss and chose to bowl first, but Afghanistan XI amassed 323 for seven in their 20 overs.
Eisakhil led the innings with 120 runs from just 34 balls. Captain Imran Mir added 74 from 32 deliveries, while Faisal Shinozada scored 31 and Noor Rahman contributed 29.
Set a target of 324, Uzbekistan were restricted to 124, giving the Afghan side a 199-run victory.
Naseer Khan Maroofkhil took two wickets for 15 runs, while Mir followed his batting performance with two wickets for 22. Wafadar Momand also took two wickets, conceding 28 runs.
The match was played in Khost on Friday as a one-off friendly between the Afghan XI and the visiting Uzbek side.
