Afghanistan’s national futsal team will face Japan in the quarter-finals of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 on Tuesday after finishing second in their group.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. Kabul time in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
Afghanistan reached the last eight after winning two of their three group matches.
They opened their campaign with a 3–0 victory over Saudi Arabia before securing qualification for the knockout stage with a 7–0 win against Malaysia.
