Afghanistan’s national futsal team has arrived in Indonesia to compete in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup, the country’s football federation said on Sunday.
The tournament will be hosted by Indonesia in the capital, Jakarta. Afghanistan will play their opening match on Wednesday against Saudi Arabia.
Afghanistan have been drawn in Group D alongside Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Iran.
The Afghanistan Football Federation said the team arrived in Indonesia early on Sunday after completing a training camp in Thailand and is preparing for the continental competition.
