Pakistan’s military said Tuesday that 50 militants, including members of a separatist Baloch movement, were killed in operations over the past four days along the border with Afghanistan.

According to the military, the operations began Thursday in parts of southwestern Balochistan province and continued for four days.

Reuters reported that independent analysts and militant groups have said the Pakistani army often exaggerates militant casualty figures. The military has consistently denied the allegation.
