Afghanistan won the third match of the ODI series by 4 wickets to complete a 3-0 clean sweep against Zimbabwe.

In the last match of the series, Afghan bowler Rashid Khan took 3/31 before his senior fellow Mohammad Nabi followed up his 2/21 with a fighting 34.

Earlier in the day, Afghanistan opted to field first, the point from where the bowlers started to back up the decision with an excellent effort with the ball and on the field.

Afghanistan started cautiously but struggled to get going with the bat as Blessing Muzarabani created plenty of troubles for Afghan batters.

Afghanistan was reduced to 60/4, 105/5, and then to 118/6 but Mohammad Nabi’s crucial unbeaten 34 runs after Hashmatullah’s 38 helped the Afghan team get over the line by 4 wickets in 12.2 overs to spare.

Rashid Khan was awarded the player of the match for his brilliant bowling display.

With this win, Afghanistan completed 10 wins out of the 12 games in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. With 100 points, team Afghanistan climbed up to the 2nd spot on the table.
