The Afghanistan U19 cricket team clinched a 47-run victory over South Africa in their second ODI match of the series in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Opting to bat first, the Afghanistan team scored 175 runs in 38 overs. Key contributors included Hassan Eisakhil with 31 runs, Jamshid Zadran with 33, and Rahimullah Zurmati, who topped the scorecard with 47 runs. The other players contributed between four to 22 runs.

The Afghanistan National U19 Team is currently in South Africa for a tri-series involving India and host South Africa. This series, serving as a lead-up to the ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup 2024, will run until Jan. 10, 2024, in Johannesburg.
