Flash floods in eastern Afghanistan’s Logar province killed one person and injured two others, local sources said on Monday.
The floods swept through Azra district late Sunday, damaging homes, farmland and livestock, according to residents and Taliban officials in the province.
Locals said the flooding caused heavy financial losses and called on public institutions and aid agencies to provide assistance to victims and affected families.
