At least six people were killed in a traffic accident in the Kotal-Robat area of Samangan province, according to sources.
The victims, who included two women, three men, and a child, were all residents of Balkh province. The accident occurred before noon on Friday when a Corolla car collided with a truck, sources reported.
This tragedy is part of a troubling trend: in the past month alone, at least 30 people have been killed in traffic accidents across various provinces in the country.
