Residents of Argu district in Badakhshan province held a funeral ceremony for three protesters who were killed by the Taliban, local sources reported.
The sources stated that the Taliban opened fire on the protesters, resulting in three deaths and 15 injuries.
The Taliban has not yet issued a comment on the incident.
This follows the deaths of two protesters two weeks ago during demonstrations in the Argu and Darayim districts of Badakhshan.
