Putin warns perpetrators of concert attack will be punished

Russian President Vladimir Putin vowed on Saturday that those responsible for the deadly concert attack near Moscow would face punishment. He emphasized that investigators are determined to apprehend the culprits, stating, “They will pay for it.”

In a national address broadcast live, Putin detailed that the probe would extend to those who provided the attackers with weapons, financial support, and transportation.

Further, he disclosed preliminary findings suggesting links between the attackers and individuals in Ukraine, facilitating their entry into Russia.

Putin called for unity and cooperation from those standing with Russia against the attacks.

Additionally, he declared March 24 as a national day of mourning, as reported by Reuters.
