UNAMA calls on Afghans to dim lights for one hour to aid climate change

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has dedicated this Saturday night to the Earth by encouraging the switching off of lights.

UNAMA urged people nationwide to turn off their lights for at least one hour, starting at 8:30 p.m. Afghanistan Time.

This initiative comes as Afghanistan is identified as one of the countries most severely affected by climate change.
