Taliban condemns Moscow shooting as ‘terrorist attack’

The Taliban, in a statement on Saturday, condemned the Moscow concert shooting, labeling it a terrorist attack and stated they consider it “a blatant violation of all human standards.”

“Daesh, which has targeted civilians in Afghanistan and other regions of the world as well, has once again clearly demonstrated,” the Taliban’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

“Through this incident that it is a group in the hands of intelligence agencies aimed at defaming Islam and posing a threat to the entire region,” the Taliban said.

The Taliban added, “The regional countries must adopt a coordinated, clear, and resolute stance against such incidents aimed at regional destabilization.”
