Talibna signs memorandum of understanding with Iran 

The Taliban deputy minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, Sadrazam Osman signed a memorandum of understanding with  Iran’s Deputy Agriculture Minister Alireza Mohajer.

The MoU is consisted of 55 principles and aiming for cooperation in areas of protection and quarantine of plants, investigation, soil analyzation, agriculture, alternative plants, irrigation, agricultural infrastructure, livestock, livestock health, investigation of farming, livestock investigation, supporting private sector and agricultural institutions and providing training for the personnel, the Taliban agricultural ministry said in the statement.

The statement further said that during the signing ceremony, Iran’s special envoy for Afghanistan, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Maryam Jalili Moghadam, the acting head of the Iran Plant Protection Organization of Iran and some other agricultural experts from Iran as well as the Taliban officials.
