The Taliban’s information and culture directorate in Ghazni province announced that two people will be publicly executed on Thursday morning, as per a court order.
The executions are scheduled to take place at the football stadium in Ali Lala village, Ghazni city, according to the statement.
In a statement, the directorate invited residents of Ghazni to witness the executions.
The decision to conduct these executions was made based on an order from Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada, the statement added.
