NATO defense ministers gather in Brussels for talks

BRUSSELS — NATO defense ministers convened in Brussels on Thursday, Feb. 15, to discuss ongoing support for Ukraine and to plan for the upcoming leaders’ summit scheduled for July.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated in his opening remarks that the meeting would focus on industrial capacity and the ramping up of weapons and ammunition production.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov was scheduled to join a separate session later in the day.
