NANGARHAR, Afghanistan — An attack by unidentified gunmen on a house in Kama district of Nangarhar province resulted in one death and one injury on Saturday night, local sources reported.
The deceased was a resident of Nangarhar, and the attack also left a woman wounded.
According to sources, the targeted family had recently relocated to Nangarhar from Kunar province in eastern Afghanistan.
The motive for the attack remains unclear.
Taliban officials in the region have yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
