Pakistani media reported that 1,207 Afghan migrants were deported from Pakistan on Friday, Dec. 29, continuing the trend of repatriating undocumented immigrants from the neighboring country.

The number of deportations mirrors those from the previous day.

The migrants re-entered Afghanistan through the Torkham and Spin Boldak border crossings.

According to Pakistani media, since November, a total of 453,480 undocumented Afghans have been returned to Afghanistan.

The continuation of the deportations has raised humanitarian concerns, as many of the deportees face uncertain futures upon their return to Afghanistan
