Mass deportation continues: Over 2,400 Afghan migrants repatriated from Pakistan in 24 hours

In the latest wave of deportations, Pakistani media reports indicate that 2,476 Afghan migrants were repatriated to Afghanistan on Monday, Dec. 4, mirroring the numbers from the preceding day.

The repatriation process took place through the Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings.

Contrary to the Pakistani media figures, the Taliban-run Ministry of Refugees reported on X that 1,274 migrants were repatriated to Afghanistan through the Torkham and Spin Boldak crossings on Monday.

This included 167 families (962 individuals) who returned through the Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar.

According to Pakistani media, the total number of repatriated illegal Afghans has reached 410,156.
