Women’s rights activist Zholia Parsi arrested in Kabul, sources confirm

Zholia Parsi, a women’s rights activist, was arrested with his elder son by the Taliban in Qala-e-Fathullah area in Kabul on Wednesday morning, sources confirmed.

According to sources, Parsi was arrested from her home in Kabul and some of their belongings, including mobile phones and a number of documents, were taken away by the Taliban.

This is the second arrest of a women’s rights activist by the Taliban in less than a month.

Taliban has not commented on the matter so far.
