After winning the toss and opting to bowl, Bangladesh restricted Afghanistan to 143 for 9 in 20 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin led the bowling attack with 3 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs, while Nasum Ahmed and Tanzim Hasan Sakib picked up two wickets each.
Afghanistan’s batting faltered despite promising starts. Darwish Rasooli top-scored with 32 off 29 balls, while Sediqullah Atal added 28 off 23. Mujeeb Ur Rahman contributed an unbeaten 23 off 18 balls, helping Afghanistan reach a modest total after collapsing from 73–4 to 132–9.
In response, Bangladesh reached 144 for 4 in 18 overs, driven by an explosive knock from Saif Hassan, who remained unbeaten on 64 off 38 balls, hitting seven sixes and two fours. Tanzid Hasan added 33, while captain Jaker Ali made 10 before being dismissed by Mujeeb.
Mujeeb was Afghanistan’s best bowler, claiming 2 wickets for 26 runs, while Rashid Khan and Azmatullah Omarzai took one wicket each.
Saif Hassan was named Player of the Match, and Nasum Ahmed earned Player of the Series honors for his consistent performances.
With this win, Bangladesh completed a 3–0 sweep in the T20 series, showcasing their depth in both batting and bowling ahead of their upcoming international fixtures.
