Bost secured a 44-run victory over Amo in the fourth match of the Regional List A Tournament 2025 in Khost province on Saturday.
Batting first, Bost posted 248 for 9 in their allotted 50 overs, with Rahmat Shah top-scoring with 52 off 56 balls. Amo’s Yamin Ahmadzai was the pick of the bowlers, taking 5 wickets for 47 runs.
In reply, Amo was bowled out for 204 in 46.1 overs. Samuillah Shinwari fought hard with 61 off 76 balls, but Bost’s bowlers kept the pressure on. Mohibullah Hamraz led the attack with 3 wickets for 54 runs.
The win was set up by Bost’s disciplined bowling effort, which successfully defended the total despite Amo’s middle-order resistance.
The victory moves Bost up the standings as the tournament progresses, with four regional teams competing in the eighth edition of Afghanistan’s premier 50-over domestic competition.
