Speenghar Tigers moves to top of table in cricket league

The Speenghar Tigers team moved to the top of the table after its third win against the Ayubi Kabul Eagles in the Shpageeza Cricket League’s match in Kabul on Friday.

In this match, Izharulhaq Naweed took a career-best of 4/23 before Najibullah Zadran struck a match-winning 83 off just 41 deliveries.

Speenghar Tiger’s Usman Ghani elected to bowl first and subsequently reduced the Pamir Zalmi to 125 in 20 overs.

Noor Ali Zadran added 67 runs to Zalmi’s total. Izharulhaq Naweed picked up 4, Yamin Ahmadzai and Fareed Ahmad have got two wickets each.

Speenghar Tigers lost 4 wickets for 27 runs but Najibullah Zadan shared a match-winning partnership of 102 runs to take the Tigers to victory by 6 wickets.

In this match, Najibullah Zadran was awarded the player of the match for his brilliant knock, where he clobbered 7 huge sixes and as many boundaries.

According to Afghanistan Cricket Board, the Ayubi Kabul Eagles will face the Katawazai Mis-e-Ainak Knights in the afternoon fixture of the day.
