SAMARKAND, Uzbekistan — The Afghanistan futsal team has been placed in Group C of the 2024 Futsal World Cup alongside Argentina, Angola, and Ukraine.
The draw for the 10th edition of the Futsal World Cup took place on Sunday in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
This marks the first time in its history that Team Afghanistan will compete in the Futsal World Cup.
The 2024 Futsal World Cup is set to begin in mid-September.
Team Afghanistan will play its first match against Angola.
