Five killed in traffic accident on Kabul-Jalalabad Highway

Five people were killed and one was injured in a traffic accident on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway on Thursday, April 24, according to Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in Kabul.

The incident occurred near the Sarobi district in Kabul province.

Zadran attributed the cause to the vehicle deviating from the road and colliding with a mountain.

The Kabul-Jalalabad highway, which connects Kabul with eastern provinces, frequently witnesses deadly accidents, often due to driver carelessness and narrow, substandard roads.
