KABUL, Afghanistan — Three people were killed and two injured in a traffic accident last night in Parwan province, according to a Taliban spokesman.
Fazlur Rahim Muskin-Yar, a spokesman for the Taliban’s security command in Parwan, told reporters that the incident occurred Friday night in the Rabat area of Bagram district.
The crash reportedly involved a collision between a Corolla and a truck on this route.
The incident highlights ongoing issues with substandard roads and driver negligence, which frequently contribute to traffic accidents in the country.
