KABUL, Afghanistan — A video released by the Taliban spokesman’s office on Tuesday, Jan. 23, reveals survivors of a charter plane crash, en route to Moscow, receiving treatment at Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital in Kabul.
Russian aviation authorities reported on Sunday, Jan. 21, that the plane, believed to have six people onboard, vanished from radar over Afghanistan on Saturday night, Jan. 20.
The Taliban administration confirmed that the crash resulted in two fatalities and four survivors.
Footage from the video shows one of the survivors in the hospital, extending gratitude and appreciation for the medical care provided by the teams of the Taliban-run ministry of defense.
