A year on from the infamous ‘Oscars slap’ in 2022, this year’s host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at the incident, saying in his opening monologue “Five Irish actors are nominated tonight, which means the odds of another fight on stage just went way up.”
Applause erupted when “Everything Everywhere All at Once” actor, Ke Huy Quan, won best supporting actor.
