Amo Region moved to the top of the standings in Afghanistan’s e& National T20 Cup 2026 after the completion of the tournament’s opening round of matches, according to the latest points table released by the Afghanistan Cricket Board.
The domestic Twenty20 competition paused on Thursday for a scheduled rest day after 10 matches were played among the tournament’s five regional teams.
Amo Region leads the table with six points from four matches, having secured three wins and one loss. The team also holds the tournament’s best net run rate, giving it an early advantage in a tightly contested competition.
Band-e-Amir Region and Mis-e-Ainak Region are tied on four points after each recorded two wins and two defeats in their first four matches. Band-e-Amir currently holds second place because of a stronger net run rate.
Bost Region also has four points but sits fourth after posting a lower net run rate, while Speenghar Region remains at the bottom of the table with two points from one victory in four matches.
The tournament, branded this year as the e& National T20 Cup and sponsored by SuperCola, is one of Afghanistan’s premier domestic cricket competitions and serves as an important platform for identifying talent for the national team and franchise leagues.
