Afghan Telecom has resumed limited internet services in Helmand through a “point-to-point” system, local sources said on Thursday.
The sources from the Taliban’s provincial telecommunications department said the service has been restored not only for public offices and banks but also for families since Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Similar limited point-to-point services have recently been reactivated in Balkh, Kandahar and Nangarhar, according to sources.
