Internet services in Herat from all providers were cut for a fourth consecutive night on Thursday, local sources told Amu.
They said access was blocked around 9 p.m. On the three previous nights, service was shut down from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m.
Earlier, sources said the Taliban ordered internet providers in the province to suspend services every night. A manager at one company, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the directive was issued during a meeting with Taliban officials.
Taliban have not publicly commented on the nightly outages, but residents in Herat voiced concern over the disruption.
Herat is also among 16 provinces where Taliban authorities have blocked fiber-optic and Wi-Fi services for more than a week.
