The body of a young man was discovered on Thursday in the central province of Maidan Wardak, local sources reported.
The victim, identified as Naseer Ahmad, was reportedly kidnapped two weeks ago. His body was found under a bridge in the Sayed Abad district. Ahmad, a resident of Dasht-e Top village, had recently graduated from an English literacy program, the sources added.
The motive behind his death remains unclear, and the Taliban have yet to comment on the incident.
