The third “Abu Hanifa International Exhibition” opened in Kabul on Sunday, October 7, featuring around 700 booths showcasing domestic and international products over a seven-day period.
The exhibition, organized by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, aims to promote Afghan-made goods, attract national investment, and foster connections between local and international traders.
The event is intended to serve as a platform to market Afghan products and introduce them to a broader audience.
Addressing the event, Taliban deputy prime minister Abdul Ghani Baradar said that Afghanistan’s environment is “very suitable” for investment and business.
“The exhibition can pave the way for expanding trade ties,” Baradar said. “Afghanistan is suitable for every kind of investment. All investors can use this opportunity in Afghanistan.”
The exhibition includes a wide range of products, from agricultural and construction materials to handicrafts, medical equipment, and pharmaceuticals, all displayed in hundreds of booths.
According to Taliban officials, among 700 booths at the event, at least 200 of them are ran by foreign companies.
