Afghanistan’s national futsal team has advanced to the knockout stage of the 2024 Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan.
According to a statement from the country’s Football Federation, Afghanistan is among the top 16 teams, securing a spot in the next round as one of the best third-placed teams in the group stage.
This marks Afghanistan’s debut in the Futsal World Cup.
So far, the team has recorded one win and two losses in the tournament.
