The Afghanistan national futsal team is set to face Ukraine on Saturday in their third match of the 2024 World Cup.
The game will take place at 7:30 p.m. local time in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, which is hosting the tournament.
Afghanistan enters the match with a mixed record. In their previous games, they secured a 6-4 victory over Angola but suffered a narrow 2-1 loss to Argentina. Afghanistan is competing in Group 3, alongside Angola, Argentina, and Ukraine.
This marks Afghanistan’s debut appearance in the Futsal World Cup, having qualified for the tournament for the first time. The competition, which began on September 16, runs in Tashkent.
