Shah Mohammad Noorzai, an Afghan athlete, was removed from the 100-meter sprint event at the Paris Olympics. Noorzai had completed the sprint in 10.64 seconds.
Afghan female athletes Yaldoz Hashimi and Fariba Hashimi are set to compete on Sunday in the cycling events. Last week, Yaldoz Hashimi ranked 26th out of 35 athletes in the Cycling Individual Time Trial.
