Traffic accident in Parwan claims three lives

A traffic accident in Parwan Province on Thursday has resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left three others injured, Taliban said.

The incident occurred around 7 a.m. local time on Thursday in the Dandab area of Siyagard district, Fazl Rahim Maskinyar, a spokesperson for the Taliban’s security command in the proivnce, reported.

According to him, the accident involved a collision between a sedan and a truck.

He attributed the cause of the accident to the drivers’ negligence.

Traffic accidents have been on the rise across various highways in the country, leading to numerous fatalities in recent months.

Officials from the Taliban-controlled traffic department have previously stated that most of these accidents are due to drivers’ carelessness and excessive speeding.
