DOHA, Qatar — The Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation, Lolwah bin Rashid Al Khater, met with Swedish Minister of International Development and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell, to discuss the situations in Gaza, Afghanistan, and Iran.
Al Khater noted on X that they had a “productive discussion on Gaza, Afghanistan and Ukraine and how we can continue to collaborate in support of humanitarian aid and development.”
The meeting took place as the United Nations plans to convene a high-level summit on June 30 in Doha, Qatar.
Doha previously hosted two rounds of similar summits on Afghanistan, where envoys discussed the situation and sought a collective approach to addressing the Afghanistan’s crisis.
