Twin blasts in Pakistan kill one, injure about 20

Two consecutive explosions in Balochistan, Pakistan, resulted in one death and approximately 20 injuries, according to Pakistani media.

The initial blast occurred after a truck struck a roadside mine in the Duki district of Balochistan. The second explosion took place as people gathered at the scene, the reports indicated.

Sources said the individual killed was an official from Pakistan’s Eagle Squad. Additionally, some reports noted that members of Pakistan’s counterterrorism forces were among the wounded.

Pakistan has seen a recent increase in security incidents. Islamabad has attributed the rise in insecurity to the Taliban, which has denied the accusations, labeling the security issues as Pakistan’s internal matter.
