LAGHMAN, Afghanistan — A traffic accident in the eastern province of Laghman killed at least three people and wounded 10 on Sunday, according to Taliban officials.
The crash occurred in the Dawlat Shah district, said the Taliban’s information and culture directorate in Laghman province.
The cause of the accident has not been determined, and further details were not immediately available.
Traffic incidents in the region are often attributed to driver negligence and inadequate road infrastructure.
