Sources in Panjshir report a 23-year-old man was killed in an armed attack in the province Saturday evening.
Relatives of the man claim Taliban members carried out the attack in Dost Ali village, Abshar district of Panjshir, around 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.
The man, identified by relatives as Noor Agha, was allegedly stopped by the Taliban at a checkpoint and shot, his relatives said.
The Taliban has not commented on the incident.
In related news, sources indicate the Taliban has arrested several Panjshir residents over the past week.
