Seven members of a family were killed in a rockslide in Khoranj village, Chaharsada district, Ghor province, in western Afghanistan, according to a report by the Taliban-run national broadcaster.
The incident, which involved the destruction of a house, occurred on Tuesday night, local Taliban officials stated.
Such incidents often leave high casualties in various parts of Afghanistan as people live in homes with little safety measures.
